Trench coat made from double faced rainwear poplin from Burberry.
This garment won the 2008 Gold Star Award in the American Sewing Guild Creativity Contest for Sewing Excellence and Couture Details. The rules of the contest specify to use a Simplicity pattern from a group chosen by ASG. This was made from pattern #4084
The design features I added are: the mitered inset trim, cuff and back belt loop detail. I also added a zip out polar fleece liner for warmth and the liner can also be worn by itself as a cute lightweight jacket.
